15 years of tango in Canterbury in 2019. Celebrate with us!
2019 marks our 15th year of tango in the beautiful city of Canterbury (click here). We are looking forward to another year of sharing tango with our regular students - as well as to welcoming newcomers to our tango school.
Whether you're a nervous new beginner or an experienced tango student, join our weekly classes and become part of Canterbury's tango school.
Just browse our site for more info, read about learning tango with us, and contact us with any questions, or to book your place.
We look forward to sharing tango with you!

Want to save money on private tuition?
Why not put together a small group? We offer private tuition to small groups, usually at just £25 per person per hour (min. 6 people, max. 12) - half the price of private tuition. These private groups meet every few weeks, on Saturdays, usually for two hours.
Private groups must have equal numbers of leaders and followers at approximately the same level.
If this interests you, why not speak to like-minded fellow ATSE students, and begin to form a group? If you don't know enough other people to form a group, let us know you're interested. We'll add your name to our waiting list; once we have sufficient numbers, we'll let you all know, and arrange an initial session.
We look forward to hearing from you!
All the tango in the world...
Are you familiar with all the varied forms of authentic, 21st-century tango? Take a look at the new menu 'About tango', which gives you lots of information about different styles of tango, from milonguero to nuevo, salon to vals & milonga. We hope you find this helpful.
Also, we have updated our Tango lexicon (under 'Learning tango') - a crucial resource which lists all the terms in common usage in our tango classes. Let us know if we've left any out!
