Bailandos
The word 'bailando' means 'dancing' (it is the Spanish gerund of the verb 'bailar' - to dance). This is our term for a special, private tango session in which you are able to practise your tango by dancing exclusively with either Jon or Sarah.
These sessions are supplementary and typically limited to long-standing ATSE students who regularly attend both classes and private lessons, though there are exceptions, so if you are interested, please get in touch.
Bailandos are valuable to serious students who need the opportunity to explore how their lead/follow is developing, and practise dancing to a wide variety of music, in different styles, for a sustained period. We do not 'teach' you in these sessions, as such, but we will offer friendly and constructive critique and make suggestions to expand your repertoire, as well as noting down any areas to be covered with you in upcoming private lessons.
Bailandos cost £75 for one hour.
