We sell an increasingly broad and eclectic range of tango music at very competitive prices in our classes, so if you hear something you like, do ask us what it is, as we might stock it on CD. We update the collection for sale quite regularly, so there’s always something new, and we ensure there is a broad range of tango. On our trips to Argentina, we always buy lots more music to extend the collection we play in classes and and social events, and to stay up to date on new releases. All good tango dancers listen to the music frequently, outside of dancing. If as a beginner you buy only one traditional tango CD and listen to it every day, it will still make a dramatic difference to your ability to respond the music in your dancing. For this reason, we have some CDs that are always in stock, especially those that beginners find most useful, so do feel free to ask for advice on which CD would be best for you. Obviously the more music you buy, and the greater the range, the better your musicality will be. We can order other CDs if you want them. We order directly from contacts in Argentina. Be careful of doing this yourself over the internet; tax will be charged when the parcel enters this country, and you won’t see this included in the seller’s price. It can sometimes be a considerable sum. However, you can also buy tango music for yourself from the British website www.milonga.co.uk, which is run by Mike Lavocah – there will be no customs tax, and delivery is much quicker. But do check with us first whether we can get the CD for you more cheaply. Page updated August 2008 |
