For dance groups & teachers, and dance holiday organisers

Do you run salsa, swing, ballroom or other dance events/classes? Then why not ask us to run a special class and give your dancers a taste of something different…

We have been invited to teach and perform for a number of dance groups over the years, including salsa groups in Hastings, Herne Bay, Rochester and Paddock Wood. We ran an extended series of workshops and classes for Salsa South Connection, in 2006 and we ran a similar course for Salsa Brisa in 2008. We taught a special class and gave an improvised demonstration at the 2007 Christmas party for the vibrant ballroom dancing school 'First Steps UK', based in Essex.

We are frequent guest teachers and dancers for the popular ballroom dancing weekends in Bournemouth organised by Phoenix dance school. We first taught/demonstrated in Summer 2007 (right), and were invited back in February 2008 and July 2008. We will be appearing again as guest teachers and dancers, by popular demand, on the next weekend in Summer 2009.

Some photographs of the workshops can be found on the 2007 Gallery pages; pictures from our 2008 classes/performances are available on the 2008 Gallery pages (page 1 - February, page 2 - July).

If you run similar dance weekends, we would be happy to discuss taking part.

We have also collaborated with, taught alongside and danced to performances by live tango groups (including Lost Tangos and especially Los Mareados).

Parties, special celebrations, or unusual, fun events for your group of friends

We are often asked to give a taster class and demonstration at someone's special birthday or anniversary party or work event.

An Argentinean family who were returning to their homeland after many years in England hired us to dance at their leaving party, and to run a tango class for all their friends – a really special way to say goodbye!

A group of twelve bridge-playing friends from Holland wanted to try something a bit different during their annual trip to England in October 2006, so they booked us to run a private tango workshop for them (right).

Why not book us to run a private workshop for you and your club/friends?

Getting your guests involved in dancing together is a great way to encourage people to meet, mix and make friends. Why not do something different? Give us a call and we’ll talk about what you'd like.

Opening a new restaurant or venue? Why not do something eye-catching and hire us to dance tango for your guests or customers? Call us and we can discuss what you're looking for.

Corporate events and team building

Nothing gets people working together like learning to dance! Instead of going for the same old ‘team-building’ routines, why not be different, and hire us to run a tango class for your employees or colleagues? Alongside other things, dancing the tango gives employees the chance to reflect on what really makes a great leader and an active follower – the latter is so often overlooked on training courses. Give us a call and we can discuss your aims and how we could help.
